The Wildest Birthday Party Ever!

I am very pleased that St Wulston’s Cub Scouts in Great Harwood, Lancashire have booked a beading workshop with Mrs Bead in March 2016. It forms part of their WILDEST PARTY EVER as Cub Scouts across the nation celebrate 100 years of scouting in 2016.

The wonderful leader at St Wulston’s is giving the children the opportunity to try out lots of NEW skills over the course of the celebratory year, and they are really keen to get creative!

I am more than happy to talk to other Cub/Scout groups about how a beading workshop could be incorporated into your own activitiy programme for 2016!

Living The Lancashire High Life!

May 2015 has been a very exciting month for Mrs Bead who has been catching the attention of a few local magazines! It has meant taking part in two photo sessions (and I am not the best at posing) and I am now looking forward to the publication of the two features – one in Lancashire Life magazine and the other in Lancashire’s Business Life magazine! It is great that the press are keen to write about small local businesses and I hope that this will generate even more interest in Mrs Bead jewellery making workshops and bead craft parties for children in Lancashire and Yorkshire.

Bookmark Making In Libraries

I was over the moon when Clitheroe Library got in touch to ask if Mrs Bead would like to run a beading session in their community space upstairs.  I jumped at the chance and suggested that bookmark making would be the perfect session to run in library and it appeals to all ages and both genders. I love how the beads and charms you can choose can reflect your own personality and tastes and you can even add your name with alphabet beads! I know it’s going to be great fun and I love books almost as much a I love beads! Here’s some we made earlier at Amelia’s Mrs Bead birthday party in Barnoldswick,  Lancashire..
